Sports Stars Join 'Simpsons' Voice Cast for Super Bowl Sunday

"The voices of a number of sports superstars will be featured on a special episode of the animated Fox series The Simpsons that will air following the Feb. 6 Super Bowl game, the network announced Monday. They include two-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady, seven-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle Warren Sapp, NBA All-Stars Yao Ming and LeBron James, and Olympic figure skating medalist Michelle Kwan. "

*Sigh*...gone are the days when the Simpsons had real guest stars that weren't used for the sole purpose of ratings boosting. The only episode I'm actually looking forward to is the one Ricky Gervais will write. Posted by Hello

Congrats to Jason Bateman for winning the golden globe for best actor in a tv comedy! It was quite a dilemma for me because the new episode of Arrested Development was on right at the same time as he was accepting his award (I flipped back and forth about every 10 seconds)! Posted by Hello

There is always next year...or is there? I am more than certain now that the real curse in Boston is when the Colts play the Patriots. Manning had a perfect season but unfortunately a season is never complete (especially not for him) unless you win The Big One. Well, anyway, I've already started to get the taunts and "congrats" from my friends in Boston and I'm sure I'll be hearing it until the next time we play each other again. Oh well. As long as the Patsies don't win this year I'm ok. I'm really getting sick of them. Posted by Hello

This is truly the end of alternative rock. As I was going to work I listened to WHFS as I usually do. When I came home from work shortly after noon it had changed to Spanish/Carribean broadcasting. I turn on the news and there's a report on ABC about the abrupt switch. I go to WashingtonPost.com and there is an article about the sudden change. "WHFS-FM 99.1, the radio station behind the popular alt rock music festival called "HFStival," is now "El Zol," featuring Caribbean and Central American music, according to a prepared statement released by Infinity Broadcasting, the station's owner." No more Sports Junkies. No more HFStival with the biggest names in rock music in one (or two) jammed packed day(s). No more HFStival?! I'm still in shock. I'm gonna need some time. Posted by Hello
