Part III : "the pizza parlor is the starting line" or "sunday night"

On Saturday I sold a pair of tickets to The Starting Line (TSL) concert for $42 (I bought them for $36). I was awaiting payment so the winning bidder could come pick them up from my work. Sunday at noon the other auction I had for the other pair of tickets for the TSL concert...they sold for $80 [fantastico]. I was also awaiting payment for this one. Since I was at work and I'm extremely important my "proxy" (a.k.a. Matt) was making sure that the proper attempts to communicate were made with each winning bidder. NEITHER one of the bidders contacted my by the end of my shift (4:30...the concert doors were at 5:00) but they both ended up paying me. Weird.

After work I had to go to this pizza party that folks from my old store were throwing. We always have it after the football season (and football pool) was complete. I couldn't stay long since I had a concert to go to but it was really nice seeing people I hadn't seen in a few weeks. It was 6:30 and only one of the bidders had contacted me (through email)...he/she said that they couldn't pick up the tickets so I should basically just do whatever I want with them. My sister, Matt and I went to the show with a total of 6 tickets. The show wasn't particularly exciting but it was ok. During the middle of the show (in-between bands) we left to go get some food (no re-entry) and when we came back we just used the other three tickets to get back in. That was kinda cool.
So now I'm home and I am in desperate need of sleep. I'm definetly almost drunk with exhaustion. Thank goodness I'm sleeping in tomorrow! Now that we're all caught up I'm gonna do some catching up of my own...

Sleep is overrated anyway - you'll miss the gigs and pizza parlours with your mates when you get older. I'm going to my fist gig in five years next weekend (Bob Mould - ex front man of Husker Du who, given your musical tastes, you should check out if not already familiar).
NEVER age gracefully!
