Pre-Sale Hysteria!

So Death Cab for Cutie and Franz Ferdinand are going to be singin' a duet this spring. They are playing at Constitution Hall in April and Pre-Sale tickets went on sale yesturday at 1PM. I made arrangements with my friend Matt to take care of purchasing since I was going to be at work and thus not able to do anything. Matt went to the pre-sale website at 12:55. Tickets were not open for sale yet. 12:56. Tickets not for sale. 12:57. Tickets not for sale. 12:58. Tickets not for sale. 12:59. Tickets not for sale. 1:00:20. Tickets SOLD OUT. I was on the phone with him the entire time and I couldn't believe what my ears had just heard. I made an emergency run to the computer available for internet access and checked myself. I was absolutely bewildered...I login at around 1:05 and tickets were indeed sold out. "It's only pre-sale" I said as I attempted to console myself. Oh well. Regular tickets go on sale this Saturday and I'm afraid to find out how fast those will go. I mean really?! 20 seconds?
