quiet quips on one quaint quotable quote...
"the only life that is wasted is a life of regret." -Me.
I wrote that today on someone's blog. Sometimes it seems to me that a lot of people take too much time pouring themselves in the past and what has been for all the wrong reasons. In this past week I've heard too many people talk about what it would be like if things [in their lives] had been different or if they had done one thing or another what life would be like. I wish people would realize the finite nature of the lives that they lead. There is not a single second in life to waste playing the "What If" game. The only time that should be spent reflecting on past memories should involve some kind of gain of knowledge from these events. Learn from your mistakes or revel in your success. There's no time for regret...it doesn't get you anywhere. I think the hardest concept to really grasp in life is to "go for your dreams"...it's very hard to bring about change when routine and conformity are the basis of the majority of our lives. Now i'm not saying go gung-ho with the change...just put one foot in front of the other and take small steps toward achieving your goals and living a happy life. It's much too short not to make the most of it!
