Winter Olympics 2006 III


  • Speed Skating (1500m)
Apolo Anton Ohno stumbled in the semifinal heat and lost a chance to be in the finals. That really hurts and is vaguely remeniscent of the 2002 Salt Lake games where a stumble actually caused him to win GOLD. Coincidentally enough South Korea was severally upset about the 2002 stumble and they are throwing a party because of the 2006 stumble. His next event is the 1000m...he should be able to capture the GOLD with no problems.

Note: Ahn Hyun-Soo (SouthKorea) won the 1500m and actually look spectacular through every single heat, not really skipping a beat. He will be in the 1000m heat and will be challenging.
